The Soil Improvement Association is a non-profit organisation. Our aim is to raise awareness of the condition of the soil in Hungary and its conservation, and to actively work to improve the condition of the soil in our country through professional events, advice and advocacy.
The Soil Improvement Association was founded in 2022 with the aim to bring soil back into focus as a key player in the agriculture and food industry and through it in the lives of all Hungarians While soil is a renewable resource, many people tend to perceive it as a given, treating it as if it were inherently self-sustaining. But this is only true if we invest energy in it, maintain it or improve its condition. The members of the Association are committed to the belief that it is not only worthwhile but indeed vital to devote resources and attention to the state of the soil. We are working together to ensure that our exceptionally rich native soil will continue to provide life for our grandchildren. And this is not just an opportunity, it is a duty.
